Continuing on about lawns, fruits and freedom

I was at the Dr. office, and i happened upon this: http://www.newyorker.com/arts/critics/books/2008/07/21/080721crbo_books_kolbert?currentPage=all

which is what i really wanted to say on my last post, but i agree with her completely.  She said it so well.  So, i dont need to say it.  Yes, let’s all grow fruit trees, and gardens, and forget the lawns for the ENTIRE yard at least.

And of course, how can i possibly post today and not talk about Obama.  I really can hope again.  I mean, i knew i could, but some outlandish thing.  That i have hesitated on, but that we can eradicate absolute poverty, so that no person has to starve to death in this planet, but the next 20 years.  One day seems too long.  But, ok, 20 years.  I, if you look at my business plan will see, i am a conservative forecaster.  Thanks so much awesome America for totally kicking some major butt in freedom and what freedom means.  Which i decided a few days ago means, “the ability to move in the direction of your dreams” that is what i defined it to mean.  Plus, since i am on this kick, i am also going to tell you what i think really contributes to success, and that is watching others succeed around you.  When you watch others succeed around you, it inspires you and gives you hope and actually gives you access to something in practicality that will spurn your success as well.  that is something to think about in dealing with poverty issues, and it is something that Muju Fruits is really committed to.  That is why we seek out the sources that we do.  Nothing gets you out of poverty more than that.  No bridge, no tunnel, no emergency relief, but seeing the success and uprising of your friends and family, your community.  One by one, playing out of the death and darkness of starvation.  Empowerment.  Obama, you have empowered so many people.

Muju Fruits, random things

One of the main things i have learned, starting a business, and being its sole full-time employee, is that the business is a reflection of myself in many ways.  It is bare boned.  You cannot blame anyone for its sluggishness, for anything.  It is like when i was taking Kung-fu, and i hit the punching bag, and as i was hitting it my wrist was hurting so badly.  My teacher told me that it is because i am not holding my wrist right.  That when i hit it right, there is no pain in the wrist, and the pain is telling me there is something amiss about my hit.  That is what having a business is like, i think.

So, this blog will document my inner journey with muju fruits.  It is no surpise that i, who would look at the plum tree and talk to it when i was growing up, and who would spend hours at the gourmet stores, who remember the taste of the fruits so well, and they are so lodged into my mind in some nostalgic memory of my childhood, that this should be where i am right now.  vid00029
